ICHS Foundation

The International Community Health Services (ICHS) Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation established in 2007 to provide philanthropic support to International Community Health Services, the largest Asian and Pacific Islander (API) community health center in Washington State. ICHS has two locations; the Holly Park Medical & Dental Clinic located in South Seattle and the International District Medical & Dental Clinic located in Seattle’s Chinatown/International District.

Support Healthy Lives Through Year-end Giving Campaign at ICHS
This holiday season, give the gift of health. Each year, ICHS provides quality health care to thousands of people in the Seattle area. We know healthy lives yield extraordinary community benefits. The ICHS Foundation's year-end giving campaign is underway. Your contribution will support the goal of providing affordable, culturally-sensitive and multilingual care to everyone who enters our doors. Your help is needed as state and federal dollars are limited but patient numbers have increased. Communities remain strong thanks to good health – and individuals like you who care.

"Like" ICHS on Facebook and be Entered for a Thank You Gift
ICHS is active on Facebook and would like to thank its friends on the popular social media site with a drawing of sorts. By the end of Dec. 30, 2011, "like" the ICHS Facebook page and you'll be entered into a drawing during the first week of January. Three winners will be selected and the prizes are: A gas card with a nominal amount showing our appreciation, an ICHS water bottle or an ICHS bag. Photos of the bottle and bag are on the ICHS Facebook page, of course. The person whose name was picked first can select from all three items. The second person can chose from two items. ICHS will deliver the items or arrange for a pickup. Support ICHS and get updates on Facebook.

Save the Date: ICHS Annual Gala will be in May 2012
Attend the ICHS annual gala and help celebrate the mission of ICHS and the patients served each year. The annual dinner, "Bloom," will be held on May 19, 2012 at the Seattle Waterfront Marriott. ICHS will have more information about the dinner.

ICHS Foundation Encourages Calls and Emails of Support to Sen. Murray
The ICHS Foundation needs your help in contacting U.S. Sen. Patty Murray (D-Wash.) and letting her know that federal support for community health centers is crucial and that Medicaid needs to be saved. Murray is a member of the Congressional Super Committee, which is examining federal spending proposals and budget cuts. Some proposals could end support for health center programs. Community health centers – and the people they help – are too important for dollar cuts. Washington state residents can let their concern be heard by calling Murray through this advocacy hotline: 866.456.3949. You also can send Murray an email. ICHS Foundation Receives $175,000 Grant From the Tateuchi Foundation
